As well as editing Subterranean, Dave is involved in the DIY punk scene around Bristol and London, is a vocalist for Hardcore Punk/ Powerviolence bands Volatile Idea and Doomsday Clock, as well as promoting punk gigs and squat parties with the London branch of collective ‘carnival punks’

Alongside editing Subterranean, Kate manages the university radio station, plays bass in post-punk band UK Paint Horse, and is involved in local activism.
